It was 10 pm on a Friday night, Alice, Meli, and I were going to our local hot spot. The local industrial dance club, to party the night away, and possibly get lucky with an un-knowing cyberboy.

When we arrived, gear on, we entered the club. Feeling confident as we saw the dancers moving in exact time to the beats. Cyberlox waving with each rapid movement, and the sound of Faderhead playing in the back ground. I smirked to myself, and proceeded towards the dance floor. Matching my arm movements to the violent beat of "TZDV" By Faderhead I was in a blissful state. Dancing under the strobe light for what seemed to be hours, I finally got to tired to continue. Panting I walked over to a booth and sat down next to Alice. "Alice, where is Meli? Don't you think it's late enough to go home?" I said in between breaths. "She's over there." Said Alice as she pointed toward the bar. And there she was, Meli at the bar, hung over an all blue cyber boy like it was just them.

Since Meli was off in la la land, and Alice was to busy busting moves under the lights, I needed to leave. It felt weird being there now, almost like a sense of evil was watching me. After saying my good byes to the girls I made my way out the doors, past the bouncer, and into my car. The drive home was silent, and bland. Nothing happened, and it seemed I was the only car on the highway at that hour. After I pulled into my driveway, I sat in the car for a few minutes to collect my thoughts, curiosity as to how Melis' fling was going, and why weren't any cars on the highway? I shrugged the questions off my shoulders, and left my car.

While making my way up the steps I got a text message, who the fuck was texting me at this hour? I pulled my phone out my purse, and it was Meli. Come over! I want you to meet Bruce! -M So, being the good friend I was, I walked into my house. After changing out of my gear, and taking off my extensive layers of neon blue makeup. I sighed as I looked at the slob in the mirror. Time to go meet 'Bruce.'

I got back into my car, and made my way down the road. Again....Empty highways, and bland streets was the route to my destination. I finally pulled into Melis' apartment building. As I started to exit my car, a cold blade meet my jugular. I was frozen in fear, but it didn't cut me? What's going on...? I heard the faint whisper...IT WAS MELI! "I'm sorry...I have to do this..." She said as she blind folded me, and proceeded to drag me away from my car. I tried using my other senses to tell me where I was, I did leave the parking lot, I know that. I heard more than one set of footsteps, was it Bruce?

The attackers put me into an obvious dark room, a faint smell of blood lingered against my nose. Staying quiet in hopes they will let me go, I sank against the wall to face the brutal fate that awaited me. Why is this happening?...Why me?...What have I done...? My thoughts stopped in an instant as I heard a door to the room open. I heard footsteps, far harder, and louder than Melis' could ever be. "Are you Bruce?" I asked with an obvious hint of terror in my voice. I heard a chuckle followed by his sadistic reply. "I am no one, I am no where. I am every one, and every where." His reply sent a chill up my spine as I sat there, against the wall. Blind, at his mercy. Praying under my breath I heard him walk to the far side of the room. That was the last thing I heard before my throat was slashed.

Now I know what he meant. He was death, No one, and no where, yet every one, and everywhere.
