chapter 1 pandora

The normal everyday, the sun goes up and it goes down. People rushing and marching to whatever they do and in the shadows, in a corner, a dark corner, hades holding a box. As he opens it slowly, laughing, as he watches the world turning into a dark and cold, disgusting world. The humans turn into zombies, dead souls rising from beaneath the ground. No god to be seen or heard of, coming to the rescue.

Cupid flying through the air struck from lightening, as he fals to the ground, surprised to see dead eating zombies coming at him. He is at shock first but fires one of his arrows and the zombie cries in pain. Once used to make people fall in love and now it hurts them. Cupid tries to think for a moment at what is happening to the world. Suddenly he realisies, 'hades!' cupid cries. he flies off into the sky watching everything crumble and go to the ground. hell on earth and trees crumble and mountain turn venomous and a breeding ground, for predator creatures. Cupid flies to a somewhere quite and shelter from the fire rain and cries for a moment or at least, that hope can come out of pandoras box.

The next day comes, slowly walking with his arrow, ready to be launched at any zombie. Its really quiet and expecting danger. a sigh of relief, he walks normally in a world completely changed and completely different. Something attacks cupid from behind, a restless spirit. Cupid tries shooting his arrows but misses and the restless spirit hitting cupid, 'ahh!' cupid shouts and in anger shoots his arrows again and this time catching the restless spirit and blowing up, like a star blowing up.

Even though cupid won this fight, he attacts other zombies now deepening his troubles and shooting more arrows and killing some, but more keep coming and coming and this time cupid flies in the air trying to escape them but the athletic zombies can run and jump really high and fast. Cupid shooting his arrows as much as he can, suddenly a cow makes a sound, all teh humans have been turned to zombies and the restless spirits freed but the animals in danger them selves.

All the zombies stop chasing cupid and go to chase the cow all eating its meat and cupid flies off, he lands on a deserted town, america texas. Cupid takes a little walk into town and looking through the glass windows, taps still running water and radio's and tellyvision have no channel to show or watch. Cupid hears a sound, he gets ready again, looking around and checking for anything. Out comes a normal human being, nearliy being turned into a zombie but with his knowledge of magic, he was able to keep the pandora magic at bay for a little while.

Cupid come to the mans assistance, he looked about in his 40's and coughing blood. Cupid straight away senses magic around the man and with a star pentagram around his neck, he knew anytime now he will be turning into a zombie, but he helped him up to a rocking chair and they both looked at each other, the man staring at cupids wing.

'you an angel' the man spoke sickly

'no, im cupid' cupid ansered

cupid gave him some water to drink and sat down next to him pulling up a chair and looking around at what hades had done to the world. Birds were hungry and were eating each other and the rats were making louder noises and also turning to cannibilims. Cannibilism, the last resort to nature, if you can't find any food turn to to your own, is the kind of world hades wanted. rough and the strongest only survived. Cupid watching the rats ganging up on a quiet white mouse, small and cute and scared. Cupid felt sympathy for the small cute mouse and shot one of his arrows scaring off the rats, but the white mouse, looked at cupid and knew cupid had helped him. It was a clever small white mouse and quickly climbed on cupid for further protection.

The sickly man laughed, at what he had just witnessed and the sympathy from cupid to the white mouse. The sick man, took out a cigarrete and offered one to cupid but answered 'I don't smoke' cupid spoke. the clocks are confused to what time it is and the air smelt strange and funny and the atmosphere wasn't the same.

'I'm a christian you know, I shouldn't be using magic but im desperate. Even magic it self is limited, i can feel my body changing but at the same time, I enjoyed watching you save that mouses life. It was good to watch something good exists in so much terror, ....kkkkiillll me' the sick man desperatley pleaded

'It was my pleasure, my friend' cupid responded

he turned into a zombie but cupid quickly stabbed him with one of his arrows and that was the end for the stranger, man. Out of respect, cupid buried him and thought for a moment and looked at the mouse, thinking which direction he should take. he got up and breathed the air and desided to fly on and wherever the wind takes him.

'you ready to fly mousey' cupid smiled at the mouse

chapter 2 restless are just so restless

Cupid took the star pentagram as a it could be a good weapon, it was good magic and mix of bad magic, depends on how you used it. he landed this time on an area full of wrecked buidlings, killing a few zombies coming at him but very predictable, its night everytime now a breeding ground fro zombies, he hides in a building for a moment.

breathing heavily from the little fight frim zombies, he couldn't help but sense something else was thier with him, and a moment of twitchy fingers and something crawling up cupids spine. he gets pulled from his feet and dragged, deeper into the broken down building full restless spirits. the little mouse jumps off cupids shoulder and dodging all the spirits.

Pinned down cupids unlimited arrows get taken away from him. the restless spirits screaming at him and moving very fast like a whirl wind and he takes out the pentagram and starts waving it and suddenly starts glowing, the spirits start wimpering away and his arrows drop tot he floor, he picks it up quickly and the mouse safe and hiding.

cupid decided to speak with the spirits, using the star pentagram. 'hello im cupid' shouts cupid but no answers. cupid tries and tries again and no answers but he can hear squirrilling in the back ground and trying to speak with them, with the pentagram infront of his mouth. out of the blue, a spirt speaks and with a croaky voice, 'we are in pain, we are pain, we are nothing but pain' the spirit speaks, with a sad voice.

Cupid confused and wanting to find out more, the building was falling apart, it was an office room and filled with resteless spirits from teh underworld. 'betreyed i feel betrayed' another restless spirits speaks and cupid speaking with them, smiling this time and white mouse sensing there pain comes out of the hiding place.

'what pain do you feel' cupid asks

'he tortures us, and makes us in pain, but we were good people, we are confused' the restless spirit speaks

suddenly knowing it is about hades and how he treats them in the underworld, cupid has sympathy for them and tries to know why they are attacking him. The wind suddenly gets stronger and stringer and cold rain starts to fall, cupid ignoring the weather and the mouse jumoing back into cupids shoulders, wanting to understand the restless spirits.

'we are scared, always scared, becareful cupid hades is coming for you' a restless spirit speaks

They all dissappear with out an explanation, but cupid wanting to know more is left, without any answers. Cupid starts sensing something, now realizing the bad weather and the floor is vibrating a little. A scary realization comes about why the floor is vibrating, 'the zombies are coming for shelter' cupid shrieks and in great speed and mass a flow of zombies trying to ake shelter.

Cupid absoloutely afraid tries to fly away but is crampled in the mass of zombies wanting to take shelter, away from the horrendous screaming weather, its that cold its hurts the zombies them selves and they cuddle but being zombies they are cold and are shivering, this type of cold is from the underworld, a present from hades.

Cupid, so scared and on the ground squashed by the zombies trying to cuddle, realises they actually want some warmth from this cold weather from the underworld and thus gets up and starts hugging some of them. Cupids warmth makes others zombies want to cuddle him and they do, it was to dangerous to go out side so cupid and his mouse sleep in with the zombies, holding onto him. Cupids love and warmth spreading through out the other zombies.

The next day comes, cupid wakes up and seeing all the other zombies a sleep and quietly he tries to sneak away from them but the white mouse sneezes and waking up the zombies and forgetting what cupid did for them in the horrendous weather, they wanted rip him apart. Cupid in one burtst flies out with thousands of zombies chasing after him, and goes into the skies and the mouse freeszing falling, cupid now scared for the life of the mouse, flies back down to catch little white mouse and into the thousands of zombies opening there mouths. Cupid didn't care, the only life on earth with intelligence and heart like him, even if that little mouse was going to die, cupid promised he will die with him.

As the mouse and cupid about go into the mouths of thousands of zombies, the earth starts shaking, and earth quake erupting and lava flowing, the zombies run away to a hiding place again and cupid falling to the ground catching the mouse and quickly flying back to safety. The mouse was breathing but still not awake and cupid flies into an abandoned hospital. he puts the mous into a bed and warmed the place up with the heating. he waites for the mouse to wake. he looks around the hospital, pictures on the floor and drawing by little children, cupid doesn't know hich country he is in.

he wonders when the gods will do something about what hades has done to the human world, but the gods work in mysterious ways, cupid hears the restless spirits again, about to do some harm to him again, he puts up the five star pentagram and they carry on speaking where they left off. The hospital was filling up with restless spirits and speaking muttering nonsense and cupid shouts 'what does hades want with me in his world!' cupid screams and the spirits whirling like a whirl wind all shout, 'hades wants cupid out, of his world' and a terror of noises form every restless spirit and cupid looks at the little mouse and notices its not breathing and starts to cry in tears.

'no no no no' cupid pleading crying

The mouses soul joins the, restless spirits and what they do to animals is cruel and terror and about the torture the mouse, cupid fires arrows and the spirits blowing up and he keeps shooting arrows, he looks at the mousees spirit and it will eventually become restless and fires one at the mouse and blows up. All the spirits dissappear again, as they come and go where they please. cupid take off again, this time with his mouse friend and alone.

chapter 3 the little girl melissa

cupid this time lands on another deserted town, definately doesn't know where he is or going. Just walking alone, checking out every bar and restaurant. he goes into a library and by chance sees a book of tales and the page turned on pandoras box. Cupid walks on, statues of every great man and woman and inventer was on buils on this library, museums were destroyed and deserted.

As cupid was about to walk out of the museum, a little ball bounces down the stairs and cupid stops and prepares his arrow and concentration level on and ready for action, now expeirenced and focused. Out comes a little girl, age 7 years old and completely human. Not one trace of zombie effect on her. cupid drops his arrow and just starting at the little girl.

'hello my names melissa, are you an angel?' melissa asked

'no erm im cupid' cupid ansered with jaw dropped

A thousand things were going throug his mind and the coffee machines bursting as it was left one, he gets out his five star pentagram and he coudn't sense any magic round her. She came to shake his hand and he accepted, creeping up behind was a zombie and melissa shouted 'zombie!' and cupid quickly turned around but dropped his arrow and zombie ripped out his arrow pack and cupid also dropped the five star pentagram. Cupid now on the floow with a hungry zombie, an arrow went through the zombies head.

Melissa had save cupid, a talent with the bow and arrow, she quickly recognise the five star pentagram was a magic symbol and weapon. She helped cupid up on his feet and they both sat down at a cafe and they helped them selves to cake and drinks. They were silent and cupid didn't know what to ask the little girl first, he looked around, and noticed they weren't many zombies or restless spririts round here.

'how are you not a zombie, i can't sense any magic around you?' cupid questioned

'i dunno' melissa answered like any child

They finished what ever they were eating and headed out of the cafe and into the streets full of broken down cars and over grown plants over the road and gorillas out of there cages and random bells ringing. It was weird how a little innocent could have survived anything like this but cupid accpeted it, as a miracle from the gods.

Melissa going on top of cars and screaming and laughing and running and playing tig with cupid, he will fly and catch her, she will try to drive a ferrari and crashing only for cupid to save her. They did everything they could to have fun with the the worlds ruins and running away from zombies, and killing zombies and blowing up resteless spirits.

Cupid found a magic using the five star pentagram, to trap up many restless spirits in a bottle and shooting at it with his arrow, and watching it blow up with wonderful colours, that was there fire works. They eventually ended up in an abandoned hotel, a five star hotel, cupid hunted out the few zombies in there and ruthelessly killing them, cupid is changing from loving to a hunter.

He puts on the fire and they cook marshmellows and cupid has more questions fro melissa, a little girl like her in a destructive world. You would think any other type of person would survive in such a world but not a little girl but this was not the case. Cupid trying to find the right moment to ask of her family and friends and what her life was like before hades opened pandoras box.

The weather wasn't that bad nor did cupid sense of anything dangerous, it was the quitest and calmest he has ever had since the tragedy. He is remembering of the times he use to shoot his arrows to make people fall in love. He use to wait, till the human grew up first, making a few mistakes with girls going out with bad boys and boys going out with a few cheating girlfriends and when they break up and are depressed and want someone nice, is when cupid use to shoot them with his arrow. That was the perfect time to shoot someone, when they have made a couple of mistakes. He looks at melissa.

'what was your family like melissa?' cupid asks

'They were ordinary, nothing special, a working dad and rebellious older sister and a dog and a mother who does everything' melissa answers

They both hear a growling sound behind them and they see a zombie with them, cupid gets up and the five star pentagram, not with with him bur he left it on the table where the zombie is and the zombie picks it up, as the pentagram is good and evil, it gave that zombie extra strenght and speed, increasing its weight and atonaomy to a muscular zombie, cupid tries firing an arrow but the zombie catching it.

Cupid gets throum across the room and the little girl screaming and as cupid is getting beat up and thrown, the zombie chases after the little girl and cupid a little unconcsious form the beatings, gets abck up and trying to walk to save the little girl. the five star pentagram around the zombie neck, cupid tries focusing his arrows on the pentagram, he waits patiently as melissa is back up against the wall, he shoots and hits the pentagram and off the zombies necks and the zombie goes back to normal size and another to the zombies head killing it for good.

melissa and cupid both run out of the hotel and the weather turning bad again, melissa orders cupid to go somewhere and orders him to go in a certain direction. Cupid trusting her flies off and luckily away from the storm. He lands at a church, and melissa goes in knowing she has been to the place before.

They hide out in the church looking for food, well only for melissa, there was bread and wine and holy water. cupid starts reading the bible and other books he can find and sits down lookign at jesus on the cross. He looks at figures just like him self called angels and now knows why everyone thinks he is an angel.

Chapter 4 close encounter

They were hiding out in the church, cupid read the bible and other religous books in the church, unknown how they got there. He saw something move, in the side of his eye and melissa was sleeping. Jesus blood was actually dripping, cupid comes closer and closer to examine the statue of jesus.

The statue comes to life and it seemed possessed and suddenly transforming into hades, wanting to speak with cupid. Dark smoking arousing cupid and hades who had a smirk at cupids face.

'cupid how is everything' hades spoke

'hades!' cupid shouted

Cupid tries to shoot him with one if his arrows, failing and hades coming closer and closer. He starts throwing chairs and tables but hades all powerful destroys them. Zombies start to get attracted around the church due hades and the energy he was giving off, an attraction to zombies.

They start to knock and punch on the church, trying to get in and melissa wakes up and hades winking at her. hades opens the doors and the zombies get in and cupid and melissa now out numbered and trapped and cupid trying to shoot his arrows, but too many are coming in. He picks up the fiver star pentagram and shouts, 'spirits, come now' cupid screams and holding and covering over melissa and with a thousands zombie mouths looking above them, things are looking bleak.

suddenly thousands of restless spirits come and stand against the zombies now distracted from melissa and cupid. The church definately destroyed, cupid quickly flies with melissa on him and in the air looking down, the zombies jump at the restless spirits and a brawl of a fight a never ending fight.

Cupid looks for a new direction, again following melissa wherever she is pointing. The five pointed star started to hurt cupid as he lands quite hard and melissa on the floor luckily not hurt. He takes off the pentagram and sees it glowing and hot red and put is on the floor.

'what up with the pentagram?' cupid questions him self

Melissa also not knowing the problem with the pentagram, points to the castle a mile a way but seeable a mile away. They start walking and thinking abou the close encounter, they hiff and puff and thank the luck they are having against the zombies and resteless spirits now having as full on brawl fight.

As they get into the castle, melissa suddenly runs off to a rooma and as cupid gets in, he sees all the gods tied up and bundled together and melissa running off to hades who protected her from the magic of the pandoras box. Cupid suddenly surrounded, by evil restless spirits and zombies, runs towards the pandora now made unbreakable by hades.

Looking around cupid scared and trying to shoot as many zombies and spirits as he can, but failing as there are too many, hades laughing and so is melissa, now realising the pentagram was trying to warn him of the castle, and realising melissa was just leading him to hades by making friends with cupid, he takes out an arrow and stabs his chest getting his heart out and placing it in pandora. The zombies eat cupid remains and suddenly pandora starts glowing and the goodness of cupids heart, balances the evil in pandora and balances the universe of good and evil and turning everyone back to normal and the restless spirits back to the underworld where they came from and the rest of the gods freed. Hades now back to his domain and melissa along with him, to suffer along with the restless spirits.
